I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario. That is where all of my 4 sisters and their families still live. I went to McMaster and received my B.A. Next I went to U of Toronto and obtained my Bachelor of Education as well as Special Education Part 1.
I have taught in a remote, fly in community called Stoney Rapids, a rural school in Alberta, and now here in Yellowknife. I have taught here since 1988. My first year at NJM was the year it opened. Now I have gone full circle and am happily back.
I love books and reading. The last amazing thing that happened to me was when a bat landed on my arm when I was in Red Deer. I love bats and penguins!
